About the Internship
The Construction Development Internship Program is a hands-on, paid internship designed for students interested in pursuing a career in commercial construction. Over 9 weeks, interns will rotate through multiple departments and gain real-world experience in both office and field environments while working alongside experienced professionals and mentors.
What You’ll Experience
- Rotational exposure to Preconstruction, Project Management, Field Operations, and Finance
- Participation in estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and project meetings
- Job-site experience alongside Superintendents and Project Managers
- Safety training and exposure to construction drawings and specifications
- Insight into accounting, cash flow, and financial operations
- Mentorship, educational field trips, and team-building events

Qualifications
- Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled at a 4-year college or university
- Majoring in Construction Management, Building Science, Safety, Architectural Studies, Finance, or Risk Management
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint preferred)
- Eager to learn and work as part of a team
Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time schedule with time split between office and active job sites
- Occasional local travel for site visits, training, and professional events
