Position: Event Crew Member
**Role Summary/Purpose:** Support Nashville Event Lighting’s production team with the loading, transport, setup, operation, and strike of professional lighting and production equipment for weddings, corporate events, and immersive installs. This flexible part-time role works well for Belmont University students seeking nights-and-weekends opportunities while gaining real-world experience in the events and production industry. Position reports to Crew Leads and the Production Manager.
**Position Responsibilities:** • Load and unload trucks while safely handling equipment (ability to lift 50 lbs required) • Assist with setup and teardown at venues under crew lead direction • Maintain equipment care and support warehouse organization • Follow all safety protocols and complete tasks efficiently and professionally • Communicate clearly with team members, vendors, and clients on-site • Other related duties as assigned by the company.
**Qualifications/Requirements:** • Strong work ethic and positive, reliable attitude (experience is optional—we provide training on lighting gear and production) • Detail-oriented self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced team environment • Clean driving record preferred • High school diploma or equivalent • Prior interest in events, production, or technical work is a plus but not required • Willing to work nights and weekends with schedule flexibility for students. **Compensation:** Competitive hourly pay with growth path to Crew Lead and valuable hands-on production experience.
