My name is Marie Villegas and I currently am a IT Project Manager as a government contractor. My technical focus overall, although I was in the medical field, and specifically nutritional medicine, but what I can pull from that is you're organizing, you are dealing with databases, as well, and you're managing people and resources and money. So, as that translates to what I'm doing now, I have that managerial and that leadership experience that I implement everyday to make sure that, again, we accomplish our daily and weekly goals. Another type of project was what we had to replace an antiquated system that wasn't communicating with different databases. So our team, with other contractors, we were building how to manage all these different modules and so the agency can work off of one system, but it works with different facets from, for example, financial management, capturing IT management software and hardware, resources, as well as facilities management. For example, like booking a room, so that is an example that we are working on and close to closing out.
