My name is Mike and I am a senior Salesforce administrator for a company in Indianapolis called Cheetah Digital. Cheetah Digital is a marketing company and what we do is design marketing platforms so that other companies like Ball State, for example, could facilitate the sending of emails en masse to large groups of people in a very quick fashion, and then we also facilitate a mechanism by which they can design those emails so that they look better than free form typed email. I work in IT and what my job is is to build, maintain, and architect Salesforce based solutions. Salesforce is a cloud application that essentially runs the entire company and so anything from the list of contacts we have for any of our affiliates or our partners, information of when we talk to them, information about what they've purchased from us or what our obligations to them are, all of that is managed, and our sales pipeline, our cases that people come in, all of that is managed through Salesforce and my job is to design and really architect the overall solution so that it's functional for all of our end users. I mean, my day is never the same. If there's a consistent part it's see what people are talking about right now and then see what I can do to address what their immediate concerns are gonna be. Salesforce is really a unique platform. It's totally cloud based and really, really, really different, even from one release to the next. One of the things that's interesting about Salesforce is that it's upgraded for everybody three times a year and so the platform truly evolves. What we couldn't do over the summer, we may all of a sudden be able to do just in the winter. We'll be architecting new solutions and letting things evolve and grow, whereas if I was using a platform that was stagnant I could design it and then just walk away.
