As the mother of three athletic boys, Tesse had to figure out a way to get them to eat their veggies while staying healthy. Pouring on a dressing full of artificial ingredients was not an option, so over the years she made and perfected her own. When oldest brother, Greg, realized how great the dressing was, he said “Mom, let’s go into business together and make it for the world!” As Tessemae’s All Natural grows its product line around the globe, the commitment to healthy eating and healthy living remains the core of the company’s mission.

[ Music ] >> We grew up in a household where we were told anything is possible. And you only have one shot at life. Why not do it the way you want? So that's really the core value and the belief at Tessemae's is if you want something and you're going to work hard enough for it, go get it. >> There's an intensity in this building that is unmatched from anything I've ever seen in my life. We refuse to lose. There is no politics and we all know how one another feels at any given time. So we will execute this and it will be as a team knowing that we will not fail. We will succeed. And we are winners. And that is reinforced everyday with my buddies, the vetters. Every day that is reinforced. >> It's liberating and it allows you to be creative and one thing that's amazing about Tessemae's is we actually promote fun. There's no point in doing anything in life if you're not enjoying it. And so I absolutely love everyone I work with. And they're kind of like stepsisters and brothers to me. >> I think what's really important here is that, you know, obviously you're a cultural fit. We look -- I look for really energetic individuals who are really looking at the big picture and who want to be part of what it means to be a part of startup company. And really just can propel themselves and have the motivation and the drive and the ambition to really take us to the next level. >> So we don't care how much experience you have. We really like the personal framework side. What time do you wake up? What time do you go to sleep? What do you eat? How many questions do you ask? Do you accept no the first time? So it's really that disruptor as an individual. Like we really look for the disruptors out there that have been told no you can't do it that way. Hey you're messing up the way things are. That's what we like. >> I love it. Like when I first started, I started off in the line and I worked my way up to the e-com section filling online orders. You got to be energetic. You got to be -- you got to love what you do. And around here, the work is pretty easy. The people around here's pretty cool. So other than that, you can't go wrong with that. When people tell me I'm smiling all the time and sometimes I'll be -- I don't even know I'm smiling half the time. >> I wake up every day and I say what do I need to do today to stay on this bus and to make sure that my presence is meaningful and that my contributions are felt because I do not want to lose my seat here. >> So we have supply team jobs. We have field marketers. We have sales people, distribution specialists, finance. It's the whole turnkey here. Manufacturing, sales, distribution, so at the rate we're growing which is about 1900 percent a month, you know there's absurds amounts of opportunity here. >> [Music] And what I can tell you that you walk into this place. You meet the people who have been here and it is a culture that while you can't necessarily put your finger on the magic, you know it's there and you want to be a part of it. >> We look at all these people like they are our family. We want them to succeed more than I think a normal employer does. Like we want them to be a part of the journey. We want them to be a part of this story and we want them to be with us in 5, 10, 15 years saying I helped build this. I was a part of this. [ Music ]
