CTE Emergency Support Fund (Spring 2026 Only)

The CTE Emergency Support Fund is available to support students enrolled in Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs who experienced unexpected expenses related to a required Field Experience (internship, clinical, practicum, co-op, or apprenticeship) during the Spring 2026 semester.

Students may request up to $200 to assist with required, course-related expenses.

  • This is a limited-time opportunity for Spring 2026 only
  • Funding is limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis
  • The application will be open from April 15 – May 1, 2026. (Requests must be submitted by 11:59 PM on 05/01/2026)
  • Processing may take up to two weeks

This fund is designed to help offset unexpected costs already incurred or needed to complete your course requirements.

Who is eligible?
Students must:

  • Be enrolled in a CTE program (AAS, Level 1 or Level 2 certificate)
  • Be currently enrolled in a course with a required Field Experience (internship, clinical, practicum, co-op, or apprenticeship)
  • Have a required, field experience related expense that was not built into your tuition & fees, or program expenses (not general education expenses such books, instructional materials or special program expense needs)

  • Background checks or drug screenings
  • Uniforms or required supplies such as toolkits
  • Certification or licensing fees
  • Equipment required by the internship placement site

How much can I request?
Students may request up to $200.

Do I need to submit receipts?
No documentation or receipts are required at this time (pilot Spring 2026 phase). Program Coordinator and/or College Deans will have a final review and approval of all fund requests.

Will this fund be offered each semester? /
Can I apply each semester?

No. This funding is not guaranteed and is processed as an emergency fund. This site will be updated if there are changes in funding.

How long does it take to receive funds?
Processing may take up to two weeks after submission and approval. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. All requests are reviewed based on eligibility and available funding.

How will I get my refund?
To avoid any delays in accessing your money, you must select a refund option with BankMobile. BankMobile, will email or mail a personal code you that you enter here: Choose Your Refund Preference

What if I am not in a CTE Program with a Field Experience course?
This fund is only available to students enrolled in a course with a required field experience component.
